University of New Brunswick
The University of New Brunswick (UNB), established in 1785, is the oldest English-speaking university in Canada and one of the four oldest universities in North America.
We have two campuses – Fredericton (the capital city of New Brunswick) and Saint John (New Brunswick’s port city). As one of Canada’s top 10 comprehensive universities (offering undergraduate, master’s and doctoral studies), UNB also holds the coveted five-star rating from the QS Star World Ranking System. UNB prides itself on providing a safe, welcoming environment where students can thrive academically, professionally, and socially. With two campuses and 10,000 students, UNB has an average first- and second-year class size of 31 students, boasting a 15:1 student to faculty ratio.
In addition, UNB offers exceptional experiential learning opportunities and houses over 70% of publicly funded research happening in the province of New Brunswick. UNB students experience quality education with a personalized approach at an affordable price.
