Funding Opportunities for Global Learners
Whether you’re an international student coming to New Brunswick to further your studies, or an international student who graduated from an affiliated school with a New Brunswick diploma who’s looking to broaden their horizons through study abroad programs, we have partnered with institutions throughout New Brunswick and Atlantic Canada to offer several funding opportunities to help support your educational journey.
These programs, including tuition reduction opportunities and scholarships, are designed to reward our students and reduce financial stress and make world-class education more accessible for our students.
Return to New Brunswick and Continue a Meaningful Education
Studying in New Brunswick and throughout Atlantic Canada has a positive and lasting impact on learners from around the world. Many students who experience education in our province are eager to return to continue their studies. With various funding opportunities available, including bursaries and scholarships, students can access financial support as they pursue higher education in New Brunswick or embark on study opportunities abroad.
The New Brunswick Advantage Program
Atlantic Education International (AEI) has partnered with Mount Allison University, St. Thomas University, and Saint Mary’s University to offer tuition reduction opportunities to our international students, subject to specific eligibility requirements. These incentive initiatives encourage global learners to return to or remain in Atlantic Canada to attend a leading post-secondary institution at a discounted rate.
The Welcome to New Brunswick Bursary
AEI offers a bursary of $1,250 to international students returning to New Brunswick for post-secondary education.
The bursary is available to students who came to New Brunswick as international students or attended one of our accredited offshore schools. The funds can be used for tuition, travel, or living expenses.
Apply at any time. Bursaries are awarded from September through the end of the year.
